Synopsis:
Polonious Toulouse-Lautrec is a man entangled in many nets. His client, the widow of a wealthy art ‘re-saler’ doesn’t want him to dig too deep into the murder of her husband in case he finds anything police-worthy; his relationship with Etne, the forensics examiner is becoming something more than he can handle; his daughter has killed an innocent pigeon, and is now refusing to do homework until she finds a lost recipe for a food her mother used to make her, and there may just be some dangerous tropical fish enthusiasts and art sharks on his tail. There may be a lot more than he bargained for in this mystery, and it could be one that he and his daughter do not survive intact.
Dark comedy and mind-twisting mystery (I hope) will combine in Toulouse-Lautrec and the Strawberry Fields.
Enjoy.

Kate, love the name Toulouse for a charcter. As usual your inventiveness and originality amazes me. Monroe is introduced a little suddenly but I did get it eventually! Echoes of Fred Vargas here,
best wishes Suzy
